Life in Education City

Living on Campus

Living in a vibrant community of fellow students is one of the most valuable university experiences you can have. In Education City, our residence halls are designed to offer a quiet, welcome retreat after a day filled with classes and activities.  Or, if you’d like to continue the conversation in a lively social atmosphere, there are plenty of open areas where you can gather and chat.

All the Comforts of Home

The residence halls in Education City house more than 350 students in apartment-style suites within easy walking distance of Carnegie Mellon’s Qatar campus.

Separate accommodations are provided for men and for women, they are fully furnished, and include living room, dining room, and bedroom. Kitchens are equipped with a microwave oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, plates, cups, and utensils. In addition, each residence hall has a shared common space for entertainment and relaxation, complete with cable television, local telephone service and Internet connectivity.
