Yet despite their world-class reputations, Carnegie Mellon faculty members are extremely accessible and engaged with their students. They care about you as a person and as a student, both in and out of the classroom.

At Carnegie Mellon Qatar, 90% of the faculty hold a PhD or equivalent degree.  In addition, full-time faculty (not graduate assistants) teach 99% of the courses offered each semester. Our student faculty-ratio is a very enviable 7:1.  All faculty either come from or are hired and trained by their respective departments on the Pittsburgh campus in the United States.
